Sydney local experts

Air conditioning designed around your suburb.

The Hills sits 25 to 35 kilometres inland, so summer afternoons run hotter than coastal Sydney, often 35 to 40 degrees. From two-storey homes in Kellyville to acreage in Glenhaven, we design each system around how your home is built and used. Pick your suburb for local pricing and advice.

Frequently asked

Questions we often get in the Hills District

What does air conditioning cost in the Hills District?

A single split system is $1,800–$3,200 installed. Ducted for a 3-bedroom single-storey house starts at $11,000–$13,000, a 4-bedroom house runs $13,000–$16,000, and the large 5-bedroom double-storey homes common around Kellyville and Bella Vista sit at $16,000+.

Is ducted right for a two-storey project home?

Almost always. The two-storey homes built across Kellyville, Rouse Hill and Beaumont Hills from the 1990s onward trap heat upstairs on hot afternoons, especially under dark tile roofs. A zoned ducted system lets you run the upstairs bedrooms at night and the living areas during the day instead of cooling the whole house at once.

Can you install on acreage in Glenhaven or Dural?

Yes. Acreage homes mean bigger floor plans, longer duct runs and more zones, so we engineer the system for the actual layout rather than scaling up a standard design. We also position outdoor units clear of heavy tree litter and leave easy access for servicing.

Do you work in the new estates around Box Hill?

We do. New builds are the easiest homes to get right because we can plan duct routes, zoning and the condenser position around the actual floor plan. If your builder did not include air conditioning, we can fit a complete ducted system after handover.

Which suburbs do you cover in the Hills District?

All of them. Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Winston Hills, Kellyville, Beaumont Hills, Rouse Hill, Box Hill, Bella Vista, Glenhaven, Dural and everywhere in between, including the newer apartments around Norwest and the Metro stations.

Do you do air conditioning repairs in the Hills District?

Yes. We repair and service all major brands with same-week diagnostics across the Hills. Undersized systems losing ground upstairs and ageing ducted units in the older Castle Hill streets are our most common calls.

Are you licensed to install in NSW?

Yes. Luxe Air is ARCtick certified and fully licensed for refrigerant handling and the electrical side of every install, with all work completed to Australian standards and manufacturer warranties kept intact.
