Why does my Castlecrag system keep losing cooling?

On a bushland block, check the outdoor unit first. The reserves between Castlecrag's streets drop leaf litter all year, and a coil packed with debris cannot shed heat, so pressures rise and the system cuts back or trips. We clean the coil, check the fan and capacitor, and suggest a condenser position with better clearance if the current one keeps filling up.

My Kirribilli terrace unit is only reachable through the house. Is that a problem?

No, it is normal for terraces with no side access. We protect the floors along the route, carry tools and parts through, and keep the visit as short as possible. If the condenser sits on a roof or a high wall, working at height adds to the price, so a photo of its position helps us quote accurately before we arrive.
